I am a critical human-environment geographer studying rural livelihoods and adaptation to environmental change in Central America and the U.S. with a focus on how global, national, and regional power relations shape rural communities' ability to adapt. My work contributes to the fields of political ecology, environmental justice, and critical development studies. I am an Instructor and Assistant Professor (Senior Research) in Geography at Oregon State University.
