I am a human-environment geographer studying rural land use and livelihood change in the U.S. and Central America with a focus on rural communities' experiences of environmental change, their adaptative responses, and the outcomes for livelihoods, soil health, and water access. My work contributes to the fields of global environmental change, Earth science, political ecology, and environmental justice. I am an Assistant Professor of Geography at Oregon State University and work with an amazing lab of graduate and undergraduate students.
