I am a critical human-environment geographer studying rural livelihoods and adaptation to environmental change in the U.S. and Central America with a focus on how social, political, and economic factors shape rural communities' ability to adapt as well as outcomes of adaptation. My work contributes to the fields of political ecology, environmental justice, and climate change adaptation. I am an Instructor and Assistant Professor (Senior Research) in Geography at Oregon State University and work with an amazing lab of graduate and undergraduate students.
